In an effort to have a list of existing bugs for each major platform, I am going to start a topic listing the current major problems of the Mac version of the game.
DOM Exception when Loading Game
Should be fixed with v1.3.4
When loading a saved game with a custom platform, the game would show a DOM Exception.

Crash when Loading Game
When loading a saved game, the game would crash completely.
You should see something like this if you open up the Console application:

There is currently no fix for this error, we are waiting on the development team to come with a version which fixes this. There is a hack in the thread tracking this issue which may work, but is not supported nor endorsed by the developers.
If you would like to start a new game, you can rename the Game Dev Tycoon folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Game Dev Tycoon. This will start the game from scratch, but should get rid of the error.

Game does not support Retina Displays
This is a well known issue which is detailed in the FAQ and on the website. You can fix it by:
- Right click on the Application.
- Click ‘Get Info’.
- Check ‘Open in low resolution mode’.
- Close the window and double click on the application.
