Hm, yeah, some people seem to experience this… now that I think about it, downloads stopping at the end and error messages such as “the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged” is sometimes caused by antivirus software picking them up as false positives. Still, VirusTotal doesn’t report any…
If you temporarily disable your antivirus, are you able to download the server? I promise it’s safe
Browsers are also a factor. I was getting the “the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged” in Firefox, but when I tried Chrome it downloaded successfully. Also I didn’t have any problems with Internet Explorer.
This is a temporary solution, and I would recommend performing the steps in reverse after you have acquired the download, it’s generally safer browsing that way!

Turn phishing and malware detection back on.
This worked for me, hopefully it helps someone else out too!
Does anyone know if GDTMP works with other mods like the platform randomizer, the competitor mod, and the advanced statistics mod? Do both parties have to have the mod, or just the host?
It depends on what you mean by “works”. It should be compatible with most other mods whether only one or multiple players have them enabled, but other than announcing that someone has gotten this custom research or used that custom topic etc., and with the exception of the mods listed in the first topic, there is no multiplayer interaction with the features of those mods. For example, competitors aren’t synchronized across players who use CompetitorMod.
