When Design level exceeds 3 digits, boxes in staff allocation become too high.

(Not sure if it is language dependent, sorry if I report it in the wrong place. I suspect it is caused by some lines that are longer than in English.)

It is the holiday season at the moment so I am unsure when translate will be up again, soon I hope.

Do you have any news, @Charlie? I still can’t login to translate.greenheartgames.com due to errors, and there are some open pull requests on github. Would be nice to have them reviewed, it should make the following translation easier.

Seems we will have to ditch weblate. We are just having too many issues with it.

I will go through the pull requests late this week (sorry for the delay). Can you make one single authoritative PR (so collapse all the little ones together) and get someone else to vouch for its quality?

And sorry, I don’t know anyone from current Russian translation team to ask for vouching. I can ask one of other moderators from Steam Translation Server to review my changes, though, if you don’t mind.

Well, Roganik has added a useful comment to one of my pull requests, so if you trust him, I can ask him to review.

Seems that ‘News’ msgid is used in game without translation, could you please check?

And could you please also check one of my previous posts about other localization issues?

Any hints where this would occur? I checked through all News occurrences and they seem to be translated correctly.

re. 1 - not sure about this. will need to check.
re. 2 - confirmed, wasn’t translated. I will add the comment "music record status"
re “Detective” and “Fan” - both should have comments saying “achievement title” or “topic name”

re. 3. I have checked en-US.pot – there are 2 msgids with comments, you are right. And I found out that in ru.po there is only one msgid without comment. In fact, all the comments in ru.po are removed :(. Will try to fix this where possible, thank you for the hint.

that doesn’t sound good. sounds like a rather nasty bug from weblate might have caused this :confused:

Is en-US.pot up to date? I can spend some time restoring comments in ru.po, if they are not just comments but identify similar msgids.

BTW, how does code distinguish msgids with the same value, but different purpose? I thought that English value at the same time serves as the key, but having two ‘msgid “Fan”’ lines violates this…
