This was a game with the console already decided and I think the audience too, as it was for a publisher.
Is the same message shown even if it’s the game topic and type that missmatch rather than the console / target market? Does the target market to console preference change over time?
Publishers do get things wrong… the publisher contracts are not sure-fire hits.
Fair comment. I’m still wondering if the correct message is being returned though. Sometimes I select the same audience and console but change the topic and then I get that message when I didn’t before.
what get’s me is when I make a game for everyone and it says target audience wrong. shouldn’t everyone fall under young and old?
Think of “Target audience” as the game’s age rating.
