GamePocket launch week almost over!
It’s now been 5 days since Gadgeteer Games released their new portable console, the GamePocket. The launch was a bit quiet, but it seems sales are finally starting to pick up!
“We’re glad people seem to like the idea of a portable console.” said lead developer Oliver Zehn. “Not since the Microvision has a portable console been attempted, and it has never been successfully pulled off. We aim to change that.”
We wish the best of luck to Gadgeteer Games. The console starts at $250, but the highest priced bundle costs $400. Four games have been released with the console; Draconic Games’ Ojada, the Monster Summoner and Gadgeteer Games’ Buddy Bear’s Big Misadventure, Horsepower Roadworthy and Pzzl. Buddy Bear’s Big Misadventure and Horsepower Roadworthy are selling for $35, while Pzzl and Ojada, the Monster Summoner are only $30.
However, keep your eye open, as Satyr Studios and Draconic Games have collaborated to create the SilverGear, a competing portable console with higher specs and a price to match. It comes out next month. We shall see who is the better console maker.

She began questioning on why humans fight or kill one another.
An enormous bright door, shining like jewels, appeared at the wall, revealing the entrance to a fantasy world, where magic prospered. She had gained her freedom, and a new life awaits. But, there is no utopia, and she must bear the hard truth & reality in the new world she is currently in.
A long time ago in the magical world of Ecolas, Demons and Humans are the two intelligent species who are in conflicts with one another. There are two factions: The Human Alliance and The Demon Army. Eventually in time, some humans joined the Demon Army, while some demons joined the human alliance. The two factions are renamed into “The Alliance” and “Daemon Army”. NOTE: Japanese title is モンスター·ハンター:アニメ, which translates to Monster-Hunter: Anime.
To hype their newest game, Pixel Studios is trying a strategy no one has ever tried before: Advertising with a TV series. Anime, a recent trend, some say. It will feature a 14-year-old boy’s journey across all of the islands to defeat all of the Monster Leaders. The anime will be different from the game, but some people say it will give players a visual that they can’t have in the game currently.

Astrid’s Pony Tales III Released
The third game in the venerated Astrid’s Pony Tales series released today. Players are able to choose the name, gender, and color scheme of the main character (default is a yellow mare with a blue mane, named Celia), but the other three protagonists have predetermined names and appearances.
Astrid’s Pony Tales III features three main antagonists, each of whom has an army of minions. The player is able to change each character’s class at any time outside of battle. New classes are unlocked by collecting ‘hero souls’ at specific points in the storyline. In addition to the 10 standard souls, there are 5 secret souls, which are optional. Souls represent the knowledge and abilities of ancient heroes, and enable use of many familiar classes in addition to some all new ones. Each class has a specific costume to go with it, and when a character switches classes they will dress the part. Aura, as a unicorn, does not wear clothing, but has slightly different jewelry for each class.
Astrid’s Pony Tales III is priced at $50. It includes an instruction manual, storybook, stickers, and a two-sided poster. One side depicts the four protagonists, while the other is a grid depicting all 60 character sprites (15 each for all 4 protagonists).
(NVM Dad went to Library I have half an hour or maybe more to do whatever on here, of course post!, though tommorow I won’t be on, and if Haxor isn’t on, pause the roleplay please? Let him or I release it.)
