[WIP] GDTMP - Multiplayer Mod [Client 0.5.11, Server 1.5.5.0] (Now in 10 languages!)

Ok then I’ll try that thanks LOL wish it explained to me this in the guide.

You should fix that consoles get removed from Publishing Deals list, because when the user is offline the console stays there with higher royality and market share, but when you finish developing the game you get 0 sales, the outcome is losing money, while there is no income at all…

How do you mean? When I develop for someone else’s console I never experience any issues with sales…

When the guy leaves the server the console is still on the market. When you develop a game for the console from the guy that left you will get 0 sales. I had the same thing one time.

Hmm I just tested that (in three different ways) and it still sold well.

@Sukkoff Are you on version 0.2.7?

Yes, I am using the latest client version, try to develop a game for a console that is owned by someone offline, you will get 0 sales…

Either develop it as an indie publisher or in a publishing deal, they both give 0 sales.

Don’t do an MMO on that. It will repeatedly give 0 sales and literally spam your active games list.

Yeah, it happens to me too. All of my games that got 10, 10, 10, 9 were on those consoles, but they didn’t sell.

Here is the review for my game.

Looks impressive, right?

Well, this happens.

This happened more than 7 times.

That’s really strange because it never happens to me…

Quick update if anyone’s wondering what’s going on with 0.3.0:
The updates for the mod and the server software are about 75% complete, and I hope to have them released by the end of the month

Take your time

That isn’t even a hack. The person who made a console worth 90% of the marketshare at the beginning of the game just happened to just make it, so I earned my way up to 1 billion to make a game for it. Once I did, it got 10, 10, 10, 9 and sold 1 million in a few seconds. It is just a flaw that will, hopefully, be fixed in the latest update.

Plus, an update on the console problem: It doesn’t really effect me now, because I have the top one now.

The console availability settings (and the time syncing setting) will fix that

Can it work with Hamachi?

I haven’t personally tested, but I’ve heard it works with Hamachi.

Updated changelog, still not released, ETA is tomorrow.

I’m really excited to test 0.3.0 with my brother and cousin tomorrow.
But I ask myself how do you handle the time sync thing? And another question about the config setting: Do I have to put “set timesync true” in the settings.txt or how does it work?

It speeds up/slows down the game depending on how far you are from each other in the game. It might not be suitable for public servers, which is why it’s a setting that you can activate by typing “set timesync true” in the console and pressing enter.
