[Win7] Errors at 30 years - v1.3.5

Well I unfortunately just experienced the most depressing end to 30 years ever!! Okay this might have been due to the fact i stayed in the basement for the duration, but like other’s i’ve been struggling with level 2, so I figured I’d see if i could stick it out.

There seems to be similar issues at this point, but the error seems to be slightly different. Unfortunately I did not save just before it happened, but I have screenshots of the errors.

This error comes up just before the “Final Score” window after you click OK to the award ceremony.

This one followed shorly after when clicking OK to the Thank You screen, the OK button then became functionless.

For reference, the above mentioned bugs were produced in version 1.3.5, unless they were caused by me loading a saved game from 1.3.2 (hadn’t saved and reloaded since)

I know it looks weird, but my Temp folder is on F, my main drive is an SSD so i like to keep it separate to reduce writes :stuck_out_tongue:

Aside from that it’s been a pretty bug free experience…I did email regarding the text boxes and buttons needing you to click on the text but that seems to be pretty much fixed, you can still however click the outside edges of the buttons and it just de-presses.

Edit: seems due to the crash, my high score wasn’t retained :frowning:

Edit 2: Okay the button/textbox issue seems to still happen (you get the action menu appear behind when clicking in the text box) but this appears to be random, so dont know whats going on there…

I came here to complain about the exact same issue. I love the game, but prefer it in its simpler form. As such, I decided to do my first playthrough without any sort of Marketing or Staff Management. I encountered this error in 1.3.2, but saw a post saying that it would be fixed in the coming update. Now in 1.3.5, I’ve encountered it again.

I have an image of it, but the forums won’t let me even post a link to it due to my being a new user. It doesn’t matter anyway, I guess, because it looks just like the first image that refraction linked to.

We have not fixed the bug where the game would crash at the end of the normal game-length if you’re still in level 1.

Take your time in fixing it. I’m aware that you have a lot on your plate right now (quite an understatement), I just wanted to confirm that you were aware. Thanks for taking the time to respond!
