What do all of you guys have in your computers?
My Specs:
i5-4440 CPU
PNY GTX 970 GPU
8gb DDR3-1600 Memory
1tb HDD
Corsair RM650 PSU (I’ve had no problems yet, but from reviews, I should have gone with a seasonic.)
Windows 8.1 (Linux>OSX>Windows. However, it is needed as most game devs suck at their jobs and crap out single-platform titles time and time again, so I need to use this :/)
Wires.
Heard the copper ones get a lot of 1337 fps in minesweeper
Get on my level skrub, i use golden plated titanium ones. Steady smooth 4200blazeit fps in minesweeper AND solitaire.
In all seriousness, i don’t have a proper desktop PC yet, so i have nothing to post, really.
lets just say I have a laptop.

What is that computer for?
An 8320, 12gb of ram and a 640 (with 4gb no less) would be a kind of dumb choice for gaming.
How is it dumb?
The fact that the GT 640 is not a great card…
For the same price you could have gotten 8gb ram, a fx-6300, and an r9 270(x) which would be WAAAAY faster in games.

I used to have intel HD 3000 graphics, so I feel your pain. You really should get a new PC (You can get a decent one for $500-$700 if you are willing to build [Unless you can play everything you want already. No need for a gtx titan x if all you’re playing is GDT, amirite?])

Get a Evga, Corsair, or Seasonic (Preferably that last one) power supply. Cheap power supplies are VERY high on the list of things that cause computers to fail (and sometimes literally catch on fire)
My new PC has Intel Graphics HD 4600 and Radeon R5 M230.
I want to just buy cheap-butt parts and build my own, but I just don’t have space for a desktop (at least my mom says so.)
Itx build, man. Give me a budget and I’ll design something that’s smaller than a cubic foot.
