Lmao EA just get credit for games they bought the rights for / Publishing them.
And EA ruined Spore.
EA in a nutshell: We buy other companieâs, just to ruin your fun or release a shitty sequel. We also canât add singleplayer in Simcity because the engine doesnât support it. And adding pools to The Sims 4 is hard.
Ow, and⌠We donât care about the money!
sarcasm
Hey at least theyâre against microtransactions, right? Right?
You need to buy simpoints with real money to buy stuff ingame with those simpoints. Thatâs the same as microtransactions. (And yes, i know what microtransaction means)
i was being super sarcastic, ea is terrible about microtransactions
so
#noot noot
yes?
NOot noOT
The acting is horrendous. Numerous flat and boring line-deliveries. Everyone just seems so bored, Jar Jar Binks is an abomination (I get a headache whenever he talks), the storyline is (yes, I am saying it again) boring. Phantom Menace never fails to put me to sleep. The relationship between the characters is not nearly as strong compared to the originals. In an effort for recognition of digital/CGI work, George Lucas failed to create some key parts, such as likable characters and a interesting storyline.
Why do you think they donât suck?
Trying to be cool and hip by going against the common opinion could be it.
No offense maybe probably maybe

I do agree that lots of the acting is in fact horrendous, and so is the writing, but again: how is Lucas known for his writing? And the actors, such as Samuel L. Jackson, just signed on without even looking at the script, just because it was STAR WARS, so they were basically pulled into it without wanting to (granted, it was their mistake).
Now there is just no arguing with this fact, but you know what? After the outrage of the first movie, Lucas made Jar Jar have less lines in the second, and HE DIDNâT EVEN GET A LINE IN THE THIRD! Lucas usually does not go back on his choices and changes to his series, but for once he actually cared to listen to his fans. though he should do it more
The Phantom Menace is definitely the worst of the bunch, and the story wasnât that great, but there were definitely some good sections in the movie. We all hated young Anakin, or at least most of us, but his only redeeming moment was back on Tatooine during the pod racing. It was so cool to watch those ships going so fast, pods crashing into each other; like Wipeout (not the game show) and Star Wars combined! And the fight with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan against Darth Maul was really great, with them leaping everywhere and good effects.
Though I do agree the love interests and character relationships arenât spectacular in the prequels, they certainly arenât good; but the originals were only slightly better, if that.
While at many points the story line faltered, there were definitely lots of fantastic moments, such as the final battle in Revenge of the Sith and Order 66, as well as the Pod Racing I mentioned earlier, and the battle against Count Dooku in both Episode II and III. Yes, multiple characters werenât very interesting, but the ones that were, were. Obi Wan throughout all three prequels definitely felt like a young jedi master, slowly aging but not completely mature; exactly what I think a young Ben Kenobi would look like. And while Anakinâs lines werenât good, his facial expressions and actions throughout Episode III really felt intimidating. But Lucas definitely should have focused more on the story.
Thatâs why
I think some of the fights COULD have been cool if the rest of the movie wasnât so monotonous. By the time I actually got to what you consider to be awesome, I was already bored.
Sure, I can completely agree with you that the movie can be monotonous at some points, it certainly doesnât suck, at least from my point of view. If you dislike the movie, thatâs fine, I respect your opinion, but can you at least see what I found good?
No offense, but not really⌠Kinda like what I said earlier, the bad overshadows any (supposed) good. I can never enjoy any of the parts you say are good because the overall movie watching experience is so tedious. I canât connect with any of characters life before. The relationship between the characters in the originals (not the prequels) is so amusing yet immersive. The excessive CGI is distracting. Iâm afraid that when it comes to these prequels, I have a very hard time finding any good. I really should watch them again for me to debate any further. However, I just donât see why I should out myself through an experience I remember being so disappointing.
I do very much appreciate your respect.
Look at the effort taken to even get rid of Jar Jar. After all the uproar, he STILL didnât fully get rid of the annoying little piece oâWhatever⌠Point is, if you have seen some of the interviews with George about the prequels, he is so selfish about them: âThere my movies!â.
I suggest you watch The People vs. George Lucas, which is a documentary criticizing the various flaws with Georgeâs recent Star Wars additions. I am pretty sure Itâs also on Netflix, so you can watch there as well.
For giggles, check this out.
Pingu is awesome Star wars is boring
