First of all a explanation of Team Crumpet. Us Team Crumpet are a team of 3 Game Developers and 2 handling ideas and other important things. We are currently developing two games. Pixel Tower (our main game) and TV Executive Tycoon. We need more members to help with game development of both games.
What we need:
A General Artist (for TV Executive Tycoon and maybe Pixel Tower): Currently we have no employees or even a level/office. Design does not have to be majorly good but needs to be acceptable. And we may need a few sprites in the future designed.
A Sound Artist(for both games): In both games there are only basic sounds. We don’t need much more but we may need more depending on what we add to the games.
A General Programmer (for both games): In both games we could do with some extra support on the programming. You would need to know some knowledge of the game engines Construct 2 and Stencyl.
That’s it!
If you are interested in one or more of these roles please feel free to contact me.
Done, I emailed him about it. What happens from this point-on, I’m not responsible for anything, such as him refusing or something of the sort
I’ll tell you when he responds.
From my past experiences, asking works a lot better. It puts people in front of 1s and 0s. Plus, I just asked him if he’s interested, because the art he does is very compatible with the current projects.
This guy is an artist which is a fan of the HoMM(Heroes of Might and Magic) series, or more precisely, HoMM 3. He even made an object patch for it which added about 2000+ or 3000+(I don’t remember correctly) objects. These objects are in 2D and are actually better than the official ones. Examples:
I don’t believe you’ll get any other people to join you. Not because you have a bad reputation but most of the people here don’t even know the basics of programming. Most developers that I know don’t use programs to code. They actually like to learn how to program and use an IDE to create their game without having to use a software to do everything for them. Why use Stencyl in the first place ? You won’t be using that in the real world. Either actually learn how to code or just use Stencyl as a fun experience.
