Why do you have “DX11” as a hardware choice? Microsoft are all over that closed source piece of c*ap and no operating system apart from Windows are allowed to use it.

I never denied that. I said, it doesn’t support “modern platforms” not “modern platforms, which only means Mac and Linux you know”.

You should rather say "It doesn’t support ALL modern platforms"
Besides
This is small project, right now he should rather focus on completing game, than porting to other OS.

He cant port it, its made in .NET 4.5 which doesn’t even work in Mono or Wine. So, bad luck.

It’s a .NET application, so I would need other compilator than the one in Visual Studio…
I’ve found a guy who could help me to port it to Mac and Linux.
But he’s dead now, so…
I want it to be available on every platform possible and get 50k bucks from ads, but you know…

I dont think you understand how Microsoft works.

You cant port a Visual C# application to Mac or Linux, doesn’t matter how much you wanted it. Its called the “Microsoft Effect”.

@Stian Well… if they see, that they can make monies of it, then they make software for other platforms… There is Office for iOS and Mac…
And with Mono and Cygwin you can port .NET to Linux. At least the Internet says so.
