Ok, storyline!

You start out as a agent for a nsa like organization (IIA - international intelligence agency). You uncover some sensitive information about the IIA that will uncover the organization for what they are, you leak the information and it’s all over the press, you then choose a country to flee to. This is as far as I have got

sounds like the story of wikileaks

Wow, that’s… Amazing. You should be some kind of Storywriter. I also like games with a good and understandable story. So I don’t like games like The Witcher 3 and Crysis 2. But I like infamous: Second Son and Life is Strange.

Was based on Edward Snowdon :p, @today

Also, going to make a skill tree, any suggestions?

Maybe you can create a skill tree like the one in Wacht_Dogs or Kerbal Space Program, you have more ways of skill to unlock. And maybe you can choose a class in the beginning, like ‘Hacker’ or ‘IT Guy’. Your class changes the skill tree.

Maybe you can put ‘Faster Typing’ in the skill tree. After you unlocked it, you can unlock ‘Blind Typing’. And after you unlocked that, you can unlock something like ‘Two Keyboards’ or ‘Five Fingers Typing’.

@Rex0099 sorry for late response. It looks good but I worried about CSV loading. I didn’t test plugin so I’m just looking from rex’s website (btw. he has many good plugins).
As for me you should try test plugin, how it is working and how much CPU it gets.

Also for CSV test that:

  1. Request project file by AJAX (CSV file of course).
  2. On completed loading, use TaffyDB to load from CSV by using “AJAX.LastData” expression.

Test it with small and large CSV data. For saving and loading I would use LocalStorage by using TaffyDB expression “TaffyDB.AllRowsAsJSON” and then loading save data as JSON.

So it would be like this:

If player starts new game then you load CSV or JSON file to TaffyDB.
If player saves game you save TaffyDB data as JSON in LocalStorage.
If player has saven game then you load JSON saved in LocalStorage to TaffyDB.

That’s how I would make use of this plugin. As I said, I need to test it out.

well they can go and learn that

My aggressive granny doesn’t like those little buttons so she smashes her keyboard. My gangster uncle has cold hands and they are too stiff.

– Dev update –

Currently, due to circumstances regarding photoshop trial circumstances, Development has come to standstill, but shouldn’t be a problem in a couple of days. (going to retrieve some files from my old computer)

However, after gathering the some ideas from all of you (and my own, and a TV series called The Blacklist; which if you don’t watch, you should if your in to those types of things), i have a clear focus on what needs to be done.
Now, can i guarantee completion? absolutely not. But i can try my hardest, and in the end, all i want to do is create a free and fun game, expanding on a fun experience i got when playing uplink.

If anything is going to get in the way, it’s certainly going to be homework and uncompleted coursework, and hopefully, it wont de-motivate me.

I thank all of you for your input, even about aggressive grannies and gangster uncles.

Good luck with further development, homework is a biatch. But uncompleted coursework is good because studying is better than writing down some stupid math questions almost no-one will ever need. Why the hell are there even math questions like this: 2.80 : (1 : 5) x 2.66 = … : 0.56 = …

Who will ever need a math question like that!?!?!?

Fully agreed! Although, i’d say algebra is the worst.
