Severe Frame Tanking

Marked as bug because it’s the closest to one, but I KNOW it’s not a bug

So, this “laptop” of mine, or toaster, as I call it, isn’t too good, it can run things like Dota2, and other things fairly well.
I know this game doesn’t have the best graphics, but I love the look, and generally it ran smoothly until end game, where i’m constantly researching big things, mmo sales are going, i have development in other sections, and so on.

All of the tiny little bubbles are making my laptop cough up virtual blood.
Is there anything I could do to put more power towards the game, or something else to help combat the tanking of my FPS?

EDIT: Fixed some stuff. It’s late for me :frowning:

Its a bugged I think if you are in the 35yrs

Year 45 currently.
I don’t think it’s a bug exactly, just all of the things happening at one time.

I had this on my 30 year game. It started happening around year 25. Until then I’d been running the game smoothly with BOINC in the background using both GPU! But sometime around when I developed the HardWare Lab and not long after the research lab, it started lagging. Even disabling BOINC made no different.

“Sliding” between the labs is nearly impossible.

My hardware should be able to easily handle this game. It can every other game that’s not a massive strategy game.

It’s pretty much a bug given it renders the game almost unplayable. (technically it may be a lack of optimisation, but often its a result of some specific bug that is slowing things down massively)

This is exactly what happens to my game when I’m in the third office.
I thought it was just my “toaster” laptop, as you call it…
