Okay is anyone against the idea of production costs? It’ll probably mean that smaller companies will need bigger companies to fund them, promoting publishing. In my mind, it’ll make it more realistic and promote interaction, but it could be argued that it’s slightly unfair.
So far I’ve decided the costs to be:
CDs: 100k=10% ($10 per unit)
Floppies: 100k=15% ($15 per unit)
Cartridges: 100k= 20% ($20 per unit)
For consoles I haven’t decided how production will work…maybe half of retail price?
Are floppies more expensive than CDs?
Especially in this times?
Hmm, better look that up actually. I thought Cd’s popularity was mainly due to price, but that was only compared to cartridges, never considered floppies.
Half of retail price sounds good. And I’m all for production costs.
What about everyone else? Are the listed prices too much, or are you fine with having larger companies publish for you?

if I’m right, you’ll need 20% funds which I should’ve started with but was too big of an idiot to realize console owners started with 20%.
