Hi,
I don’t think this has been reported yet, so here it goes. When one open the in-game menu (develop new game, research, etc) the game pauses momentarily. So far so good. When we press ESC the Game Menu (Options, Save, etc) the game pauses has well. But if we open the in-game menu, then press ESC, when we return to the game and close the Game Menu we can see that the in-game menu still open but now the game has resumed.
It is a minor bug, but hopefully a easily fixable one
Cheers,
Pedro
PS: Any additional info you need just let me know
Hey, Thanks for your feedback!
Please let us know;
Which OS you are using?
e.g. Mac 10.7.5 // Win 7 Sp1
Which Version of Game Dev Tycoon you are running?
e.g. 1.3.9.
Have you used a save game editor?
If you can reproduce this error with one of your save games then it would be very helpful if you could send us the save file to support@greenheartgames.com
To send us the save files please follow these instructions:
Location of the containing folder:
On Windows 8 and Under:
Send us the file _file__0.localstorage contained in the Local Storage folder.
C:/Users/YOURUSER/Appdata/Local/Game Dev Tycoon/Local Storage/
where YOURUSER is your Windows user name.
To View the App Data folder please allow viewing of Hidden Files and Folder;
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/show-hidden-files
On Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/{app}/Local Storage
On Linux
~/.config/Game Dev Tycoon
(might be slightly different)
On Windows 8 Store Version
C:\Users{User}\AppData\Local\Packages\B3B9BB81.56264F78B4FFF_swksbykwsp6kr\RoamingState
Where {User} is your username. If you could send us the file corresponding to the save slot you use, that would help us a lot.
So slot 1 would be file 1 for example.
OS: Arch Linux x64
Game version: gamedevtycoon-1.3.9-1-x64
Have you used a save game editor? - No, didn’t even know it existed. Don’t care.
“If you can reproduce this error with one of your save games then it would be very helpful if you could send us the save file to support@greenheartgames.com”
I can reproduce it, but it is not dependent on the save game. It happens in all games, and I suspect it should also happen on other platforms (windows, osx). Still, if you try to reproduce and can’t I’ll gladly provide any files you deem necessary.
