No great game combos

No matter what combination I do (even if I have looked up great combos) It never gives me the bonus for it, or even mentions it in game. Instead I only get New Topic and New Combo. Everywhere I look it mentions Great Combos, so why cant I get them no matter what? and yes I am using the correct combinations. How can I fix this? or are Great Combos even part of the game anymore?

If I remember correctly, I think great combos are no longer listed because you have to research it. (Using game reports)
