ok, so i was watching someone stream game dev tycoon (steam version), and i noticed that while it accepted his name change, in the reviews and sales statstics, it still says the original name
I can not approve this.

He probably forgot to click the Check Mark next to the game name.
Just clicking somewhere else in the window does not change the name.

Well i tested this ingame and without clicking the mark the name did not change after releasing the game.

That video is 5 hours long. A rough estimate of when the bug occurred would be most helpful.
mmmmm, happened whenever he made the wild west game, so i guess just skim through until you find the wild west game being made

Maybe have a little tutorial message explaining that you can change the name when completed?
It should also say something like make sure you click the check mark.
Or people should just pay more attention 
We can’t expect or want everything in the game to be explained to the bone.
