Sorry for bad title and no category, it’s just that i was not sure what to call it.
Okay, here we go… i’m playing on a laptop, that may cause some of the issues, but i am pretty sure that i should not have under 10 fps when i’m creating game /game engine / doing anything that involves everyone.
I have a profile where i have several hundred million dollars and stuff and going past the moment where the game “ends”. I have a full staff and since i have so much money, i make consoles and let the R&D team go on full speed with all my money going into them, just to get the money back from MMO’s and my own consoles. And with all that happening i lose about all of my frames.
Is it supposed to happen on a laptop that can handle CS:GO in 80 frames?
Yeah I agree, I play on a high-end PC, and sometimes I often deal with FPS issues in the game.
the same thing is happening to me and i dont know why
lol im glad my i5 isnt a piece of crap, now that i notice other people having the same issue
Hey guys, we have been working on some performance optimization for a while now and we will roll it out with the next patch. However this will only help people who meet our minimum game requirements of;
System Requirements: ~2GB RAM, graphics hardware acceleration, minimum resolution of 1024x768
While triple A Games get super duper optimization, indie games not so much, so people with integrated graphics will suffer.
funny thing I kept wondering about: why could there be such a lag caused by simple 2D blitting?(“bubbles flying”)
(in the second office it Is noticable during “heavy” development cycles while being in one of the labs)
my guess would be that the node.js->host 2D blit/acceleration pipeline ain’t that much optimized to being with,
Charlie, if you do, or Patrick, can you provide the specs to the game? Just curious.
You mean
System Requirements: ~2GB RAM, graphics hardware acceleration, minimum resolution of 1024x768?
I would suggest the above specs are minimum, most people run oodles of things while trying to also play a game, like skype, web browsers, documents etc. Which is why i love steam, its everything in one streamlined process.
Fair enough, and yeah I love steam aswell, thanks for that I usually have Mozilla or Steam open at the same time, its pretty good.
in my case the performance seems to drop as soon as i had the r&d lab/hardware lab available, fraps sayed from 60fps down to 5-15 fps
i have i5 2nd gen 4x 3,2 ghz
amd 6950, 1920x1080 res
win7 x64, 8 gb ram
also i noticed minimal performance issues if i have a program open that uses java, like my minecraft server, jdownloader or opera
hope that info helps to improve the game
I have 16 GB RAM, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 4 GB video memory…
So I was also surprised to see the game lag like that
