FEW TIPS BEFORE CONTINUE
Developing games isn’t just by adjusting sliders. These data are a part of “the good way”, but please follow these instructions before continue reading :

  • Don’t develop two games in a row with the same Topic / Genre combination.
  • Large games should be developped with 2D Graphics V4+ and 3D Graphic V3+.
  • AAA games should be developped with 3D Graphics V5+.
  • AAA games should be developped with 3 specialists allocated to important phases of your game’s genre.
  • Don’t develop the sequel of a game with the same custom engine.

Different topics with the same genre can have different ‘perfect’ alignment of sliders, IME

These slider settings are very static, luckily i am working on a more freedom slider/game guidance.

Will be available later this week or i should say soon.

The slider allocation is a rough guide, straight from the wiki itself.
“While this will work for you at the beginning of the game, when you have one employee and few features, later in the game, when you have multiple employees and multiple features, this table will no longer provide you with the highest possible game quality but more of a rough guide.” - Game Dev Tycoon wiki.

This is the more accurate table. (Yay! I can post pictures :))

Although, good find anyway

You are great, you got me a game that sold 82.1 Million Copies getting me 1478 Million Dollars. Thank you.

What does the chart look like when it’s on 80?

The Grat Combination list is horribly wrong.

Just tried Zombie + Adventure and the game said it’s a horrible combination.
Losing a lot of ingame money now -.-

@kernyx As you can see, this guide is from over a year ago. This tutorial is outdated, please look up a recent combo list before necroing :stuck_out_tongue:

This topic is the top result on google …

It doesn’t matter what result was at the top of Google, the fact is this tutorial is a year old, you should have looked at a more recent one
