Game is constantly crashing on me

Hi,
i played one game until i reached year 35, then i started a new game. But since the game crashes to desktop, everytime after 15-30sec, it doesn´t matter what i do, if i am in the menu, in a developement stage of a game/… I bourght it from Windows Store. Of course i restarted and closed the app, but that doesn´t make any difference…
I´d really appreciate any help :slight_smile:

So you two are on Windows 8? Really strange, doesn’t happen to me, post specs for the developers/mods?

Please let us know;
Which OS you are using?
e.g. Mac 10.7.5 // Win 7 Sp1
Which Version of Game Dev Tycoon you are running?
e.g. 1.3.9.
Have you used a save game editor?

Do you get any error messages when it crashes?

Please try disabling any antivirus and playing Game Dev Tycoon

I am using:
Windows 8 64bit
Intel i5 3570K
Sapphire HD7870

I am not using Save game Editor neither am i getting any error messages at all. My Antivirus is Kaspersky AntiVirus, i will try playing when it is turned off.
Where can i see the game version?

Just tried without antivirus, doesn´t make any difference, sadly it still crashes.

I’m using Windows 8 64bit too, and I have no idea which version I’m running. No save game editor.

Although saying that, I appear to be playing the game without issue now. I just updated everything in the Windows store, and I’m not sure if GDT was in the list so that could be a solution

Are you using the WIndows Store Version? Have you checked to see if their are any updates available?

Sadly i couldn´t update since a week, because i changed my internet-provider, and it takes in germany a month to get the “new” internet. I am writing this from my Handy.
When i get my internet back, i am going to see, if there are any updates, and tell you if anything changed.

Hmm interesting…as I am playing on W8 64 Bit version and have noticed nothing.
