Looks great!
I would like to see this Idea become a reality, hope this makes it to the final stages of Releasing.
Still using JS/HTML? It would be simpler in C#
- why would it be simpler?
- C# is laggier :ā(
- TubeStar was written in C# and is open source.
I could help with the art work
Project Canceled
Well, atleast for the time being. Iām very slowly working on a Unity RPG along with a friend who will be helping with models and that side of things. I also have some literary projects Iām working on, and then thereās life in general. Programming has pretty much taken a back seat. I have no idea if I will ever pick up on this. If youāre interested you can follow my tumblr, I havenāt used it too much yet and definitely nothing having to do with programming so far, but if you are for some reason interested in me as a person, then itās there for you to check out.
I apologize for all of you whom were waiting for the game.
Oh, and @Charlie please lock this thread.
Iāve always wanted a YouTube Simulator and now its cancelled!
TubeStar :I This was a ācloneā all along.
(insert sad song here)
It works for me
Too bad. But I donāt even know how anyone is able to make a game using HTML and CSS. I can understand how JavaScript can be used, but I wouldnāt even know where to begin. Probably because I donāt really know HTML or CSS to well. But C# would of made the game a windows only game and they wanted it on more than one platform, I think.
Its actually pretty simple to make a game in HTML, CSS, and JS. Its one of the most simple, in-fact. And yes it does make for a very dynamic product. You can easily have it as a browser game, obviously. And if you find a good wrapper you can easily port it to Mac and Linux as well.
RELEASE DATE?
I want to play this game!
