So, I downloaded and played the demo with no issues and yesterday I bought and downloaded the full game from Steam. Now, when I open the game it has an orange colored tint to everything. The reds are purple, the blues are brown… so on and so on. Help! I can’t play the game with it like this, it’s very ugly!!

Are you sure that this isn’t your display’s fault?
I think it is.
@sbd4de3 I played the full game, and the DEMO version. There is nothing wrong with the color-style, if it’s not your display… Try reïnstalling the game 
Try wiggling your display connector around, unless your using a laptop, in which you’d most likely be out of luck
So yes, I have reinstalled the game, twice now, and no, it’s not my displays. I have taken a screenshot so you can see a comparison between the normal colors seen on the steam webpage and the messed up colors in my game, but since I’m a new user I can’t upload it…

In the snip I did, you can see that the colors are off from the image on Steam in the background (left).
I don’t know, can you write your system details (processor, graphics card, RAM etc.) down? Maybe it’s your graphics card or something.
Have you also tried to go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the map Game Dev Tycoon? So you can reïnstall your game again with ALL of the files.
That’s really weird. I don’t know how could this be the game’s fault.
You can try reinstalling…
Lucas/Haxor, I did a fourth re-install and opened the game again last night. The one thing that was different was that after I launched the game again, the little heart in the bottom right of the screen, had been grey all this time, turned green and all the colors were normal, finally… 
I have no idea what that little green heart means, GHGames Devs probably know what it means…
