Game Dev Roleplay

These geniuses have sped up the release date by 8 months, they really are that brilliant and that many.
The release date is now 24, 4, 2014.

(Hey this isn’t fair, so many posts while I was sleeping)

With the huge success of both the UNleash and the FairPlay Advance, we have seen little from Velvet in the past few months. However, Gaben has announced that the first Smoke Machines are ready. There are two models at launch. The first costs $399 and has similar specs to their rival consoles. The second costs $699 and is much more high end, beating both the FairPlay Advance and the UNleash, and will allow for never before seen graphics and realism. Both consoles should be able to play all games though. It runs on the new Smoke OS and is basically a PC just for games.
When asked about the two versions of console, Gaben said ‘We want a product that can appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers’

(( Xhanada Can’t comment for 21 hours, and I think mine will sell much more, since mine sold on Christmas, also lol for the ‘fairness’ and dude my console started production first, so logically yours would be a bit less the graphics and stuff

Ubisoft Seattle and Ubisoft Japan have undertaken a massive update for DreamCast, updating both the graphics, factions and the DLCs. This has improved the gameplay and maneuverability

Asked about the delay of the Smoke Machine, Velvet owner Gaben Newb was challenged by us. He replied 'With the announcements from rivals, we have to push for higher specs and had to design a fresh new prototype from the start. We know it’s annoying, but it will hopefully mean a better play experience for everyone
(Now, does that answer your question? :D)

The Smoke Machine went on sale today. The cheaper ‘Soot’ version sold a much larger amount than the ‘Hardcoal’ version, but overall sales were very good. Not as good as the UNleash, but Gaben puts that down to not as much hype being generated for his console (This is a compromise ok?)
Both consoles come bundled with Half-Dead 2 Episode 3, and the Hardcoal version also contains a new game called Day of Victory. This is a world war 2 game with elements of action AND strategy. It involves the story of C Company, as they fight to break free from an enemy attack. Not only are there FPS sections of the game, there are also strategy sections were you have to instruct your comrades to complete objectives. Critics response was pretty good although there is concern that the game will not sell well outside the Smoke Machine.

Ubisoft has delayed their ‘Project X’ to help co-company Velvet Corp. They created a software and hardware upgrade to both Soot and Hardcoal (Lol, nice pun there). This is called the Charcoal system which can automatically adapt to whatever it is being connected to, for example if you upload an UNleash game onto a Smoke engine, it will change the formatting. This will prove to be very useful in the future.

The day before Ubisoft’s ‘Project X’ is released is filled with suspense, Ubisoft has released that they intend to share it with Bamboo Cane Inc, Velvet Corp and maybe TPS.

Blue Dragon has updated League of Gods, adding two gods (light and dark) and more weapons for the perma weapon system. They have also updated the graphics, which can be disabled for lower powered computers.

24, 4, 2014…

Ubisoft’s ‘Project X’ has arrived! Ubisoft has unveiled it as the ‘UThink’ or as BI, Velvet Corp and TPS will call is ‘Think-Send’.
Instead of controllers, this console has a helmet which although lightweight contains many wires, pulsars and a totally new fuel system. Instead of using electricity, this uses up your energy, thus making you able to both eat and play without getting fat. What a breakthrough. ROFL.

Although wireless, it cannot be used out of the 3 meter borderline - to minimize the risk of brain damage.
This will undoubtedly start a new industry in what Ubisoft call Thought-Power. For Bamboo Cane, Velvet Corp. and TPS it will be free. However, for every other company a license for 5 years will cost 250 M, while buying it permanently, will mean that Ubisoft is able to have 10% of the game share.
We now understand what Ubisoft had stated before.

Critics such as Metacritic had
’Reported that the gameplay was a bit chunky, but this is merely the spark of the fire that will burn for eternity’.

However Paper, Scissors, Boulder had a much more ‘down-to-earth’ criticism saying that
’The controls are pretty hard to get, although that’s probably because in the middle of a Sonic boss battle, I was thinking of what was for dinner’.

‘Although the gameplay was difficult we now know what we need to work on, thank you all for a wonderful step towards history!’ that was Cazran Patmore’s Speech from his holiday villa at Hawaii. (CEO’s and fictional people need holidays too you know !

Velvet Corp. has sent a game for Ubisoft to publish, while they create other games. This game is called ‘Day of Victors’ a sequel to the popular, but quite restricted ‘Day of Victory’. This will be the first game ever to go onto the Think-Send (UThink). Velvet Corp. and Ubisoft have both refined the game’s controls to suit the common user’s thought pattern (making the most common thought tactics and creating them for your companions).

‘Rocks this world. Literally! I was blown away with both a grenade and the easier controls’ - IGN 9/10
’A MASSIVE improvement on the original game. I hope Velvet keep making games like this’ - Game Center 10/10

The Media has inquired why Ubisoft wasn’t the first to create a game for Think-Send (UThink). After all, it was Ubisoft’s console that they had created for around four months!

Co-Founder Hayden Patmore has announced a reply: ‘Dudes, we need holidays, and after working so hard, we needed a break, publishing is half the work creating a game is, so we decided to do that instead. We aren’t takin’ advantage of Velvet, we’re helping them: they 'aven’t been making the exactly the best games, so we decided to publish it for ‘em.’

It’s as if Gaben has taken insult from Ubisofts latest press release, as his company have announced they are working on the ‘Game to end all games’. Fans wonder what it might be, but there is still a Half-Dead 2 Episode 4 to be released, so Its very possible that Velvet might abandon the episodic approach and go for a full on AAA release. It is almost certain that the game will use Ubisofts Think-Send, and rumor has it that Velvet are working on additional hardware for the game. Meanwhile, new updates have come out for DATA, just as fans thought the game was going down the toilet. Smoke Machine users will also receive unique weapons and upgrades with the update.

Breath Coding has released the highly hyped Restaurant tycoon for the UImagine and the PC, and then you might also ask, how come you didn’t released it to the UThink. Well licenses cost 250 million dollars just to able to make games on it for five years, The money we have can barely buy one-third of the license, maybe we will think about it in the future.

Orbit Games

IGN: a latecomer to the video game development company Orbit Games was founded by a past employee of Ubisoft who’s comment on leaving was “i was unsatisfied with the fact they had outdated technology in all the work spaces except research development so i went to create my own company” has today quickly released a Gameboy SP “clone” named the Pocket Player along with a game ported for all current Nintendo consoles and the Pocket Player named “Asteroid”. Critics have had mixed responses but the overall score has been decided as a 8.6/10. We look forward to seeing more from this company.

There is confusion among fans after Velvet, who recently exclaimed they were working on Half-Dead 3: War of the Combination, have announced that the game would be delayed ‘until further notice’. The gaming world is baffled, but no one knows the reason behind this development.

Recently, multiple people have been asking questions about all this going on between Ubisoft and Bamboo Cane Inc, and Samuel seems very pissed off at Bamboo Cane, saying that they have cancelled their contract, saying that they would never allow Bamboo Cane to release games for Ubisoft, as they were working with ToT Inc, and then they decided to pull out a new console! Trick or Treaters Inc is now reaching out to companies such as Orbit Games and lamdigidude Gamesfir new ports for the Fairplay Advance. They really seem to not like the idea of Bamboo Cane working for other people. More news to come.

Today many Orbit Games fans were shocked as they released a try at a family freindly game titled BlockNation for the Pocket Player, news was also recieved that the desperate company began asking ToT to allow a port for this mobile game failure on their popular Fairplay Advance hoping their audience would enjoy this game more than on the fairly new Pocket Player.
In other news they have released news regarding another new game so far called Mario Siblings more news on this game is sure to come soon

IMMEDIATE BREAKING NEWS ****

The CEO of orbit games was seen headed towards ToT Inc.'s office, after a few moments he announced he had asked the CEO of ToT inc. if they were interested in creating a new console together! more info to come as this story develops.
