Ubisoft have released two things; another sequel to the hit Assassin’s Creed which is called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and a PC Console.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag includes the ocean biome, where the player (Captain Edward Kenway - situated in the Golden Age of Pirates) can hunt fish, whales, sharks and other animals. It includes secret treasures on hidden islands. A fully functioning crew. Lively pirate ports, upgraded currency and a taming ability. This all comes with the PETA Sticker of Disapproval. This cost is around $40.
The new PC is called UNique, and is fitted with all the basic things for the home console, and more. This includes faster broadband network for up to 15 terabytes per second, an upgraded touch mouse as you can see on the link; http://www.harveynorman.com.au/logitech-m600-touch-mouse.html. But instead of paying $87, this costs only $20 in the bundle. There are also UHear, USpeak, ULook and easier access to icons. There is an advanced CPU called ACPU. There are also more advanced fans, wires and simply less bulkyness. It prices around $300, which is reasonable for this type of Super-Computer
Ubique:
In addition to the UNique, there is the UBique. This comes with everything the UNique has and more. Ubique means ‘Everywhere’, and this is exactly what it does; in collaboration with Mega-Corp Google, they have created UKnow; a search engine for USearch; The new Mozilla Firefox Google called it. They created a camera called UFilm, this basically controls the whole screen, however, it is not vital. UFilm uses ingenious eye motion technology to see what you’re looking at, and when you talk ‘What does that mean?’ or something like that, and it says the meaning in though your speakers or headphones. Ubisoft claims This is just the tip of the iceberg. They have copyrighted the eye-technology as UFilm, so no other company can use it, unless they have a license.
The Ubique costs $350
Velvet Co have agreed talks with ToT for porting Counter Force to be ported to the FairPlay console. It seems that the deal is largely in Velvets favour.
In other news, Velvet were showing off the impressive technology behind their brand new engine, the Sauce engine. It includes detailed facial animation, a very intuitive modding kit and probably the best physics engine we have seen. They demonstrated the awesome capabilities of the engine at the latest G3, in their sequel to Half-Dead, Half-Dead 2.
In addition, the company is working on a distribution platform for their games on PC, called Smoke. Gaben announced that it will start off having only their games but they plan to expand into a large market for all games too. Time will tell if this is a success.
Half-Dead 2 has been released to overwhelmingly positive reception. The game has received perfect scores from many video game critics. It quickly broke the sale records set by Half-Dead 1 in only its first day, and shops are quickly selling out. Even Smoke has repeatedly gone down with so many people trying to download the game.
The success of the game has led Velvet to hire a team of hardware engineers. They don’t rule out introducing their own console in the future, but for now the team will just be creating specialist hardware for some of Velvets future games.
Velvet has expressed interest in making a puzzle game and a zombie themed game.
Ubisoft has released a game named Grand Theft Auto, and it is named rightly so. This is a life/sandbox game where you can create your own character and drive, steal, rob banks, destroy tanks, fly a plane, get eaten by a whale and much more. In this game you have three mode options, ‘Sandbox’, ‘Story’ and ‘Multiplayer’, in Story Mode you play as Toby, a normal man, but is morphed after witnessing a murder, however you decide whether to relax and get taken to Rehab. or resist and live life as a free man.
Rated as one of the most productive games on the planet: Game Planet, 10/10
Cost: $40
Ubisoft has released a game in collaboration with New York, Washington D.C and Sydney. This astounding game is called ‘The Walking Dead’ and is probably one of the most scariest games ON THE PLANET. Anyway you play Lee Everett, a Macon man, who is being sent to jail for murder. On the way you crash into a zombie, and the driver is ‘turned’. After a vicious battle, you must venture on, to escape the zombies and to start a new life with other survivors
Ubisoft has FINALLY created their own game convention called UConference. Here fans can talk about their favourite games, movies and game artworks. There will be beta tester rooms, which is open to anyone ONLY on the 8th October; when the game convention takes place.
Ubisoft has told the press that it is interested in Velvet Corporation, and their distributor, Smoke. They said they plan to release a patch and update for now one of the most popular distributor platformers.
Velvet has challenged the new companies ambitions on Left 2 The Dead by trademarking the game name for themselves. Gaben Newb claims that Tortoise Water Studio staff have unlawfully used the zombie game plan that Velvet had been working on before they left the company. Velvet have begun work on the game, completely turning around the game concept and naming it Fight 4 Life, a nod to its new 4 player co-op rather than the previous 2 player co-op. Time will tell how TWS will react to this event and whether they will push development of their game to compete with Velvet.
Meanwhile, Velvet have released 2 more games. DATA, a sci-fi strategy, was originally questioned because the Sauce engine seemed unsuitable for strategy games. The game was still well received how ever. However, the main praise was for the science themed puzzler called TelePortal. A spin-off of Half-Dead 2 rather than a direct mod, the game was well recieved for its unique gameplay mechanics and humour.
In a surprise twist, a new company, at the moment held up by three people, has released their new, independent game for PC industry. The game seems to parody old games such as Sonic, X-COT and mayhaps most importantly the famous Assasin’s Creed: Before. The leader of the company, Xhanada Yingzhin, had this to say. “Sure, we may be parodying games of more popular people. But, it’s all fun and games, is it not?” The game itself has reached slightly above than average reviews. When asked on what is their next project, Xhanada anwsered this. “I have this one idea… About a raccoon.”
In a strange announcement, Tortoise Water Studios has sold its self to Velvet to settle the dispute, but the founder (Andrew Roberts) has made Blue Dragon Studios to make a competitor to DATA running on a unique and new custom engine.
Blue Dragon has showcased their unnamed DATA competitor as League Of Gods, and will enter a closed beta soon. The game revolved around a capture the flag like game play, where a good and evil team try to steal each others part of the Crystal of Unity. The game is said to feature microtranactions
The Fairplay is released! Consumers have been scurrying over to the console, causing the company stock to rise up by 43%! The console sold 550467 units within the first week of sales! People are currently enjoying the multi-player shooter experience of a life time in Counter-Force, and people are just loving Dragonfire! One problem though; the controller still sucks, and they haven’t released the arcade stick yet! AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!
In other Fairplay news, Red Army Forces and Runeblade have come out on Fairplay, and Runeblade is now on all platforms! Red Army Forces seems to be a bad choice to be released on the Fairplay in my opinion. They already got Counter-Force. Cmon. Too many shooters! Red Army Forces isn’t even that good on the Fairplay, so this seems bad. Thankfully, Counter-Force is doing quite well, as the recent, “Counter-Force In Public” ad campaign has brought over tons of players. Trick or Treaters Inc has now broke even from the Fairplay, Counter-Force port and ad campaign, and the buying out of Monote, so now they are generating full on PROFIT. Meanwhile, Fairplay has announced that they will start providing 12 terabytes per second of internet speed now, which is an obvious answer to Ubisoft’s new computer, the UNique having the same speeds. This is quite the showdown folks. I’ll seeya soon. And have some more ANSI art!
League of Gods has entered a private beta, and the reaction is mostly postitive, says a anonymous source, but Velvlet is fearing what will come up from this project.
In shocking news, Bamboo Cane Inc has revealed their newest idea for a game, featuring a walking, talking raccoon thief as the main hero. The leader of the company, Xhanada, wishes to try and devolep the game for the Fairplay. “I wish to bring this new, child friendly game to the Fairplay, to help the younger generation to reach a safe game enviroment.” Bamboo Cane Inc has sent a private letter to Tricks or Treaters Inc, asking for licences and a possible partnership.
In another news, The company leader, Xhanada Yingzhin, is now fifty years old! Happy birthday, mister Yingzhin!
Trick or Treaters Inc owner Samuel Kessler has stepped up to Andrew Roberts asking him for a port of League of Gods to the Fairplay, offering hosting of servers, and $10 million dollars. In return, Trick or Treaters Inc would get 10% of all the profit from the microtransactions made on the console port. This is a very odd choice, as Velvet Co, the creators of the competitor to League of Gods, DATA, have a game on the Fairplay. Will this piss Velvet Co Owner Gaben Newb enough so that he decides to pull the Fairplay port of Counter-Force off the shelves? We will see.
Trick or Treaters Inc owner Samuel Kessler has accepted Xhanada’s offer, and as a birthday gift to Xhanada, is making it so that they will not have to pay for the license for the console, and only 5% of the profits of the port will go to ToT Inc. They have also accepted their partnership idea, thus possibly making Bamboo Cane Inc a 2nd-party developer for the Fairplay console. Samuel is happy to have the game on their system.
Some might have heard cheers near the devoplement building of Bamboo Cane Inc. A few months later, a demo was sent out to the wast sea’s of the internet, holding the demo contents of “Sly Cooper”, a E for everyone rated game featuring basic sneaking mechanics, a raccoon with a cane, a hippo with driving skills, and a turtle with scientific prowess. The statement by Xhanada indicates that the game will reach shelfs soon.
Breaking news have just reached the gaming scene. Xhanada Yingzhin has caught a dangerous, unknown disease. Despite this, the game is still worked upon. Let us wish he will be back soon.
