FPS die on end stage of the game

Hi i play in Game Dev 1 day on my sony vaio s series (4gb ram, i3, geforce cuda), and where i coming to end stage with labaratory and AAA/MMO games game starts die with 1-2 fps. And during the 3 stages of development of the new game, Game Dev just hangs on 30 seconds - 1 minute. Creates Finish project button and Game Dev anather hangs… I dont play again because rage this brakes…

I have been having the same issue however I’m running with 8gb ram with a 3ghz processor, windows 7, GeForce graphics.
The problem for me seems to stabilize after a short while but frequently occurs and is rather annoying.

I have the same problem.

Yeah for some reason when i add to my office a laboratory my game crashes and my computer aswell. But if i say not yet the game continues normally. Hopefuly a patch will come

yeah, it is annoying

theoretically a user space program like GDT should NOT be able to crash your machine,
unless it falls prey to an unknown kernel space bug.

(most often, it’s caused by a misconfigured system, faulty drivers, cpu/ram issues or some freaky but rare feedback loop among those things)

and if you’re playing on a non-UNIX based OS, the scheduler ain’t that great to begin with,
but that’s another can of worms.

as for the FPS issue, I noticed a drop from 60fps(vsync enabled) to ~20-30fps using the 1.3.9 linux version/ubuntu 12.04.02 x64, my system specs are ok-ish by current standards.

only annoying thing I found so far: the game turns into a slideshow if I move to the left/right into the labs DURING an active game developemnt/create engine/research cycle…otherwise it’s running pretty smoothly.

Yep same for me, on both Laptop and PC, Laptop is AMD A8 and 8gb RAM with ATI 6520 graphics card so it should run seemlessly, but it always gets stuck.

i have the same problem here, i hope you guys fix it soon.
