just installed the game got immidiatly this error

Had the same issue too. In the lower left corner for me, there are three horizontal lines. Click this, it will open a menu for selecting a new game. By selecting continue before creating a save game I crased with the same error, but this allowed the game to launch for me. Hope this works for you too!

Iām so sorry about this. What a rubbish first impression. We are fixing this now and a fix should be available soon. The workaround described above (press ESC and start a new game, should work in the meantime).
