Complaining about piracy when you stole the entire game concept and design?

Why do you complain about piracy when you stole the entire game concept from game dev story ?

aren’t most of the games are knock-offs of something? I dont see people whining about angry birds…

I don’t see Rovio making huge cry posts about piracy either

They haven’t stolen only the concept, but completly the game design.
Look for some screenshot of the different game stage, game rating, awards, console system, you start with computers with CRT screen in both game, what the hell.

The issues is that the directly goes into crybaby mode and jumps on the moral high horse over a game that he didn’t create.

It’s like me making a clone of bejeweled that doesn’t sell for shit, blame piracy and wank over how I,m better then internet pirates.

I disagree with you. I can clearly see you have no clue. I am a games developer myself and I am totally 100% agree with these guys and no way this game is stolen in any way.

i looked at game dev story on google but it looks like china made it. this is american verision with different game concept and artwork

And Dev Story ‘stole’ the concept again from other games. Which go back as far as 1984. The first real computer game developing simulation was released in 1988 or so. (http://gb64.com/game.php?id=18164&d=18&h=0 for instance) . So nothing new here.

Also: borrowing concepts is definitely not the same thing as piracy.

you where saying?

the original PC game came out in the late 90’s

it still doesn’t change the fact that it’s stolen

You must be new to the internet, people cried about it.
Difference is angry birds was somewhat passable so it sold.
This wont, even with all this exposure.

angry birds shouldnt exist either, its a complete scam that they made money from that

there’s a difference between borowing a concept (IE the SMT series and Pokemon) and making a rip-off

did china have trademark or copyright? if no then gtfo troll

you obviously don’t have a clue on what you are talking about. this type of game has been so vastly explored and done over and over again in the history of home computing. your argument could just be as valid for any 2d horizontal shoot em up. you do not have a point.

it’s safe to assume that it its copyrighted to the original game.

what about how the dev handled it? Besides how is he so sure that it’s pirated? For all we know about 10 people pirated the game and it just sold like shit.

Yeah, sure you are. Please tell me more about your programming experience

Are you retarded ? Have you even seen game dev story ?

Can you tell me while keeping a straight face that

You know, there is a difference between copying a game and copying a concept.
