When playing this game, I stayed in the garage which when upgrading to the Store in Y20 i can now not upgrade my graphics, i wondering how i can fix that. please help!

It’s not a store it’s a normal office…^^ But why did you stay in the garage until year 20 anyway?
They mean the first office.
In order to upgrade from 2d graphics v1, you need to research “Custom Game Engines”
This will automatically unlock 2d Graphics v2.
Build a custom engine that includes 2d Graphics v2 and start using it in your games. You’ll notice on the experience screen that your 2d graphics v2 engine starts gaining experience.
When your engine reaches level 3, you unlock research. In this case for 2d graphics v3 AND 3d graphics v1.
Research whichever you want, build it into your next engine and use it. Every time you hit level 3 in a graphics engine, you’ll unlock the next version level.
2d graphics cap out at version 5. 3d graphics cap out at version 5 normally, but version 6 and 7 can be researched at the R&D lab.
