I have discovered a bug, since you go back 30 years, Military actions will have not been popular with younger audience but your game seems to think it would, call of duty didn’t come out for another 20 odd years guise.
Even 30 years ago kids played with toy soldiers. I would not call this a bug to be honest.

lol, call of duty isn’t the first military action game
in the 80s there were hundreds of military action games
and in the 90s even more: wolfenstein 3d, cannon fodder, etc…
Have to agree with Danny here, it’s not a bug. I think it works better this way too as it doesn’t restrict your design choices like it would if it were that realistic.

On the NES, Military action/war games were popular, from Commando to Ikari Warriors, from Rambo to Platoon, there was everything and kids seem to love it. Heck, there were even some strategy war games like North & South on the system.
