This could be the first time I comply with the ETA… xD
Stop talking, start coding.
The (possibly last) major update for GDTMP is here! As usual, there will be a lot of new bugs. Most should be fixed within a week or two. (Quicker if you guys help me by reporting them!)
Note: The syncing part of the co-development feature is a little finicky right now, so it’s best if you click the release button at the same time as the other person, and stay online during the entire development process. It will be improved in the minor updates.

Yay forums are back up!
Okay, so co-development doesn’t work. Fix ETA: Tomorrow
If you have any other issues, please post screenshots so I can fix them.
ERROR: Mod incompatibility between players
That usually happens when you try to co-develop a game with a custom topic that the other player doesn’t have (i.e. you use a topic from Camelot but your friend doesn’t have that mod enabled).
Did you fix the co-development bug?
(just asking)
EDIT: Uhhhh, Darkly?
I don’t remember server version 1.4.1.1 being the latest.
And:
Where’s fix?

Whoops, that’s corrected now. Thanks for telling me.
@Today @1113 I found more bugs that are important to fix, so the minor update that’s going to fix co-dev will probably not be up today.
Is there any servers up at the moment? Cause i cant find any
GDTMP is now licensed under CAAAANASFMTDMYBLWTHITICDATSPL. I’m not sure if that’s even a valid license but I don’t care.
@Mikeymike200 Apparently not. You can start your own if you want to
That is exactly how I think about every bloody ToS in the world. I always sweep through them with “CTRL+F”, searching for “data” so that I can see wtf they use my data for
Haha, yeah, although this isn’t a ToS but a software license for people who want to change the GDTMP source code to create their own multiplayer mod. (I don’t think anyone is going to use that code mess though…)
I’ll also release the server source a bit later.
Client 0.5.1
- Co-game reviews are combined into one now
- Fixed “X researched Y” messages displaying the ID of the research instead of its name
- Fixed connection timing out after reconnecting

- Fixed people still showing in the player list after reconnecting
- Compatibility with server 1.5.1.0
Server 1.5.1.0
- Fixed co-development not working with advanced engines
- Attempted to fix “invalid index” error in GUI
- REQUIRES CLIENT 0.5.1 OR LATER

bug ?
I have a strange download problem with the latest Nexus Server Application download. Every time I download the newest zip file, the updated version, and it keeps saying the zip file is broken (and it says this for several of my friends - totaling 4 people). So we can’t use the updated client without it either. If anyone’s had success in downloading an opening it, would they mind uploading a mirror since it could be Nexus messing up?
EDIT: Just tried the MediaFire “trouble downloading” mirror on Nexus. It still doesn’t work. 7Zip says Cannot Open as Archive.
@Shubham Only those topics? Also, are you developing for a default platform (not one added by other players or mods)?
@Steven_Bernier I don’t think my mod is causing that… did it happen after you got sabotaged?
@NeoTanner That’s strange, as it doesn’t happen to me. I’ve repackaged and reuploaded the MediaFire mirror file, can you try downloading it again?
