Windows 8 store update is out claim ur key now!

it worked for me this is how you do it

  1. go to windows store
  2. check for updates and apply the new update
  3. launch the game
  4. right click youre mouse button when you are in game
  5. you will see the new button for claim steam key in the bar on ur lower screen
  6. open youre steam client
  7. go to the button on the upper left part of steam that says games
  8. then go for the option, ‘‘Activate a product on steam’’.
  9. now enter the key you got and start downloading :slight_smile:

how do I check for windows 8 updates? I go on to the store, and have no idea how do update

When I right click on “get steam key” it says “varifying” for a few seconds, then it switches focus back to my desktop. What am I doing wrong? At first I assumed it had copied the code to my clipboard but that’s not the case. No steam windows or web browser tabs open, it just alt+tabs to the next window open.

Any idea what’s going on?

It should open a web browser where you can claim your key. Maybe the browse is not brought to the foreground?

Please check that you are signed into the Store with the account you purchased Game Dev Tycoon with and that when you installed the app you chose “yes” to allow the app to access the internet.
