Windows 8 Apps to Desktop

I bought this on the Windows App Store and i wanted it on the the desktop. If anyone knows how this can be done please help me

Well, the game I am pretty sure launches on the desktop, so just pin it to your task bar.

Otherwise, go to the files, search GDT and try it from there.

The Windows 8 Store edition of GDT is separate from the Desktop edition, and the Desktop edition must be purchased separately. You have two options with regards to playing GDT on the Desktop:

  1. You can re-purchase the Desktop edition from the GHG store, which will give you downloads for Windows XP/7/8, Mac OS X 10.7+, and Linux
  2. You can purchase Stardock’s ModernMix application which allows Windows 8 Modern UI apps (ie those bought through the Windows Store) to run in a window on the Desktop.
