Just a simple question.
We plan to update the Windows Store version at some stage but there is no ETA yet. The release of Windows 8.1 has complicated things a bit for us for technical reasons (the game runs fine on Windows 8.1 in the automatic compatibility mode for Win8 apps but when we target Win 8.1 directly we see some odd issues).
Another factor is that modding will most likely not work in the Store version due to security restrictions which makes the 1.4.5 update a little less urgent for the Windows Store.
How about the patch to 1.4.4? I kinda prefer the windows 8 interface and the game seems to perform better outside the steam environment.
Steam does tend to slow down games, but that may be just me, my PC isn’t…the best.
