Why isnt that in the game?
examples: The godfather, mafia and possibly GTA.

Agreed!! I wanted to make an Action/RPG like “Mafia”, but I couldn’t… it will also work as for strategy games, like Omerta and Chicago 1930.

Don’t forget Saints Row. I’ve wondered the same thing. City/action might cover it, but I don’t think that combo works in-game.

I have my games in steam listed by “Genre, Sub Genre” so i have Saints Row listed as “Parody, Action”.
In Game Dev Tycoon this translates to “Comedy, Action”.
I would create Godfather, Mafia, Omerta & Chicago 1930 as “History, Action”
