For all the people who will read this thread, genuinely looking for an answer here is an official statement 
We are delighted to announce that we will be releasing Game Dev Tycoon on Steam, on the 29th of August. The game is available for pre order now but cannot be played until the 29th.
Please have patience as we need to prepare our game for release on Steam and arrange the distribution of Steam Keys.
