Which is the best antivirus for gamers?

@Stian  For the withdrawn post. Have some :cake:

@ashishdungdung - AVG Free - Just be careful not to install any of the crapware that comes with it.
@azertyman - I would advise using an AV.

Comodo Antivirus

Oh people actually know antiviruses for linux, i only know Clam AV and Comodo

Win 7 Ulti ($wag or something like that)

Why do people have to get some complicated antiviruses that most likely don’t even work? I use AVG as @Charlie stated and honestly it’s so simple plus free. My last virus I ever had was back in 2011 so within 3 years this antivirus has been nothing but perfect.

10/10, best antivirus in my books. I’d reccomend that, too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vjUZe45xzo This is why, and no, they DO work

I have…
4 antyviruses on my PC.
Well, had.
Avira 2013 free
AVG (Only antyvir I use now)
WIndows Defender, can’t uninstall it,
And Lenovo Solution Center, I have turned off protection against viruses, so I have now only 2.
“Only”. My Friend has none.

And I don’t have any for my Android :open_mouth:
Like most people…

It is possible to get infected in android, but i think im careful enough with android.

You can get infected everywhere.
There are many fake apps, weird ads, and small random buttons which dowload unwanted apps (except for 1st point).

Yeah, google doesent check thier apps in their store, unlike apple, they check everything, iStuff are harder to infect
And you need to enable an setting to download from unknown sources,

Google check all apps for viruses, what are your sources?

Now it does.
Now.

No, thats only apple, look at this http://www.greenbot.com/article/2146022/google-refunds-google-play-customers-after-virus-shield-scam.html How did this come through then?

Like I said.
Now it does.

They have always checked their apps, but you dont need to be certified to publish on Play. Also, next time you should read facts.

Stian is right, Google always checked apps, but because anybody can publish their work, there are long lists of apps waiting for checking.

Right @Jakub

I am using Avast and Adwcleaner.
Single Antivirus cannot do everything.
For example I got this russian adware called amigo http://pcspywareshield.com/guides/amigo-browser/
Antivirus did not flag it it as it is not a virus
I removed it with Adwcleaner

I use only Windows Defender for now.
I just hate when antyviruses block my legit stuff… it just takes long time.
