The Alienware X51 desktop was made specifically for gaming, what i wanted was for next gen consoles+ technology in normal PCs and not the ones specifically made for gaming. Those PCs will have a better RAM and CPU.

Don’t you think that’s unfair? Expecting “normal” PCs to beat a console which is specifically designed for gaming?
Sure, a $300 laptop you pick up at best buy is not going to be better in games than a $450 PS4, I never claimed that it was.
But if you’re looking at the “next gen” of consoles and expecting to be able to beat a PC with a decent graphics card in it, then you’re going to be disappointed.
A Core i5 with a Radeon 7870 in it and a few gigs of ram is easily as good as a PS4, and only a little more expensive, even if you don’t build it yourself. It’s not really an exotic “gaming” PC, it’s just a PC with a graphics card for games.
Next year, you will get something even faster for even less money, and the consoles have only really just started.
I’ve forgotten what my point even was, other than to say that this gen is much less advanced technology, when you compare it to a cheap PC, than last gen…

Well, not really true. Some people will love Xbox One exclusives, like Forza, Dead Rising 3, Ryse, etc… And some people will love PS4 exclusives, like Killzone, inFamous, DriveClub, etc…
You can’t say “This game is better than this one” when they aren’t even released, it’s all about what you like in video games.
The OUYA is in the new patch for some reason. It has…10 percent market share? No mention of the fact that the people who backed it didn’t get their consoles in time? Or the fact that most of the offerings are sub-N64 quality? Why not include the game.com and N-Gage while you’re at it?
Because they are not as funny or commically controversial as the Ouya.
That’s kinda my point- if you aren’t going to take advantage of the fact that the thing was such a complete, hilarious disaster, why use it instead of any of the other flops?
Because the ouya is the indie game developer console. The Ouya is not the console we need, but the console we deserve.
Ouya is ok, I like how cheap it is compared to the other consoles on the market. I see it as a console, but it’s not the best console. The marketing of the console wasn’t the best and the delay on release was not a smart move as this can lower the reputation of the console.

I take it you’re referring to the Vega Dreamvast which does quite well until it crashes and burns once the Playsystem 2 is released. That one has been in the game since day 1.
Since the Ouya is now included in the game, this thread seems to have served its purpose; and due to the number of times this thread has come close to a flamewar, I think it’s time to close it and let everyone move on to other topics.
