Another good question is as to why the codes for us are given through this method against emailing?
Wouldve thought a database + PHP Mail wouldve been fine.
MS will update the Store when MS updates the Store.
As for why the code were not emailed out for Windows Store customers, GHG have no knowledge of who bought GDT. Microsoft simply tells them how many have been sold and gives them the money. There’s no customer information given to GHG.
Therefore they are forced to use a different method to ensure that only people who are actually eligible will get a Steam key.
