Was wondering how long anyone else has gone, I have gotten around 22 years now, and just got the new Mbox unlocked, are there other consoles after the “next gen” systems from real life? And to Greenheart, thank you/
The game officially ends at 30 years (or 25 / 35 if you’ve changed the settings), at which point all the scripted consoles will have been released. However, you can choose to continue playing after this point, where you can research the components that you previously missed. Many players play on to around 75 years before getting bored and starting again.
I have played to year 126 so far. I wanted to see how far I could research 2D tech and see if I could make a profitable high rated 2D game but so far Ive had no luck. By this stage money isn’t a issue and its basically just a good way to test combinations and stuff.

Okay I made one. I did a AAA Text based Sc-Fi RPG, named Mission to Neptune, it had 3378 Design and 2906 Tech and a Hype of 465 on release. It rated at 2,2,3,2 and sold 84,468,242 copies and made $1,520,428,600. I also lost 500,000 Fans roughly.
