I learned JS (the basics) by modding GDT and doing some other stuff with HTML. I always learned basics by starting a simple project (a tiny game most of the time) and just googling the stuff I didn’t know how to do.

But that’s just basics, and it doesn’t need to work for everyone.

I once made a mod for GDT. But i didn’t have any knowledge for JS, i just experimented with a little bit help of github and the MODAPI.
