Hey everyone!
Looking at the sales figures of my first MMO which has been running for 64 inGame years now, I came to wonder.
“What if this number was real?”

(Wow, nice image-restriction! Can’t even link to an image on my webserver. Well done.)
- Currently there are approx. 7.000.000.000 (7E+9) humans on earth.
- The planet we call “earth” is the only planet in our solar system that is habitable.
- There are approx. 100 solar systems in our galaxy. Let’s assume, they all have one inhabitable planet, just as we do.
- In the known universe today there are approx. 1.000.000.000.000 (1E+12) Galaxies
If I did my math right, this sould lead to the following:
With the above units sold (approx. 2.1E+24) I’d have 2E+12 (2E+24 / 1E+12) copies per Galaxy.
Taking the solar system problem into account, the number of copies per solar system is 2E+10.
If all of these planets are as populated as our’s this means every possible habitat of our universe has 3 copies of Derpwood ONLINE.
Either that or I might have a HUGE buffbot problem.
Thanks for an awesome game
Regards from bavaria
