There are lots and lots of mods which add topics and platforms to GDT but it seems to me that there aren’t many mods which add interesting original events. This is surprising given that it’s actually fairly easy to do.
Has anyone seen or played a good mod which added interesting events?
I was making Election Time, which had a lot of chained background events. I also had a completed mod with Attack on Titan background events, but didn’t release it because nobody had seen AoT. 
Is it available on the workshop?
No. If people want an event mod, I’ll make one 
When BMM is released I plan to make a lot of new interesting events for my upcoming mod, The Govodore Comeback.
You really gotta add recent events into account, too. Like the recent booming of indie PC games, so maybe make the PC marketshare jump a bit, and the main consoles (PS4 and Xbone) a bit down, because people were underestimating their strength.
market-changing is events is a good idea. in the normal game there are only genre trends, not platform ones.
