What are these crazy letters doing here?

Hi there,

I’ve noticed in the start of various threads, especially modding threads, there are letter things in [ ] at the start of the posts, what does [REL] mean? I think I worked out what the others stand for, but I’m not certain.

Its a pretty standard convention used across veteran modding forums.

[REL] - Release aka [Relz]
[REQ] - Request
[QUES] - Question
[TUT] - Tutorial
[WIP] - Work in Progress
