Upset customer!

@PatrickKlug I recently saw your game for preorder/ early access on steam. I purchased it and then all of the sudden it was no longer on early access. I feel like it was falsely advertised as early access.

thanks,

Well technically it is for those that bought it before the steam version, however you only have to wait four days for it to be released

Its not about the wait. Its about being told it is on early access through steam until I preordered.

I never saw it advertised as Early Access on Steam. Only pre-order.

If it has, it’s Steam you want to direct your complaint at.
The game hasn’t had release yet, so you might be able to get a refund.

But come on…is waiting 4 days really worth the hassle ?

Just chill…it’s really no big deal to get worked up about.

For me too it was stated as ‘early access’. So after playing the demo, I decided to buy it on steam, assuming I could instantly play. Unfortunately I couldn’t. But I guess I can wait … I’m a little sad though, if I had known it was a pre-order and no early access, I would have bought it via the website as you’ll get a steamkey anyway. So it’s not very nice towards players. They could have at least given the steam-people a key to download the game how it is now to play as well

The game is available for pre-order on Steam, not as Early Access. Early Access is for alpha or pre-release games. Game Dev Tycoon does not fit into this category.

We certainly have never configured it to show as Early Access so I suspect that this must have been a temporary issue with Steam.
