I’m new to the game and to this forums and have a question. Sorry if it’s already been posted.
I have Game Devy Tycoon for my Mac, and if I 'm right, you have to keep an eye on the blog to know if a new version is out. Once it’s released, you just download and install the new version? But what about my savegames? Do I have to back-up them somewhere, or is that not necessary?

Thus far, most of the updates have been stability updates, thus there is no reason to worry about breaking your saves. In the future, balance update may affect game saves; in those instances the changelog post on this forum will mostly likely include a warning about this.
For now, just update your game, and the saves will be… saved (
)
PS. There is an inbuilt update checker (you still have to download manually), but I’m not sure if this is currently working on Macs. The next update should fix it, if not.
