I want to update Game Dev Tycoon, but the website says the only way I can do that is by re-downloading it through the purchase email, which I no longer have. I would like to know if there is another way to update my game. if anyone is wondering, my current version is 1.3.9.

I Think that You can only re-download.

Unfortunately, the only way to update a non-steam version is re-downloading. However, simply download and delete the other app. The GDT files will still be there, so your companies will still be there.

Contact Greenheart Games and ask for another download link. Download. Out Game Dev Tycoon on your desktop. Delete the other game Dev tycoon, the one you use. Ta-Dah. And your companies will still be there
