Update mod in workshop = bug that creates death (Important bug but solved)

So I was making an update for my mod "Drandroid"
so I started to click BUTTTTTTONZ and when I hit the update buttttton
After the update button has been clicked and waited
suddenly
The mod didn’t show up at the esc>mods list!
I took the Drandroid folder out of my mods folder and still… nothing happened!

I contacted @FireChaos for a quick response he said that it’s not your computer

My mod has it’s second week of being in the first page in “Most popular this week” and I dont want to get down votes!

It’s in the mods_ws folder but not on my modslist

I just update my mod 2 times, and all work correctly.

What I’m guessing is that you have a silent error.

This means that you have configured something wrong, so the mod doesn’t really show up. Maybe you didn’t load your JS? Well, frankly it would still show up.

But it sounds like you are experiencing a silent error.

so, did you find the issue? if not, post the code (or a link to the mod) somewhere and we’ll have a look.

my guess is that you introduced some error that caused the mod loading to fail.

I decided to find the first version of the mod again and make the changes to meet my update
I think the problem is i think is: The update does not update the ID since in UME: You can make your name as your ID. Because you can’t use that name “Bitten 8 (Gamingthrou on the forums)” (I think) as your ID, I was forced to name the ID like this: ca8d3ade-31cb-453e-8978-9961e9ae66ac
And I think that was the problem: The updates don’t update the ID

And if you’re wondering the mod had some spelling errors, unbalanced stats, etc. so I made the mod again.

(I’m not sure about this ID)
