Well, this one is an interesting one by me. I downloaded your demo tonight (found your blog post on Twitter!) and hey, I like Tycoon games.
But, sadly, it appears to be very badly broken on my Eyefinity setup. I’m running 5760x1200, Catalyst 13.1 WHQL and also tried Catalyst 13.5. When I start the tutorial, I get all the windows where they should be and all - but I only get the yellow gradient background. Nothing else. When I hit escape to open the menu, I can see part of the office way off to the left, but I can’t actually get at it! 
Halp? Anyone? Please tell me it’s some setting I missed that isn’t showing up when I search the forum.
I also just downloaded the demo and I’m having the same problem. I’m using nVidia’s nVision Surround instead of Eyefinity, however. Seems to be an issue with scaling in fullscreen. I’m going to wait until windowed mode has been released before I purchase the full version, see here: Play in window mode, not full screen? [SOLVED]
Yeah, unfortunately this is a real show stopper for me. The demo is 1.0.1 so I also tried the “pirate” version (seriously, just to test) which is 1.3.0, just in case it was already fixed and not in the demo version. Same exact problem.
If there’s anything I can do to help troubleshoot further, please let me know. I’m really at a loss. And while I definitely applaud the efforts and experiment, well, you can understand not wanting to buy a game I can’t currently play. ;(
