Hello, I was just wondering how I can get my game to transfer from my Laptop to my PC. Possibly through my email or something?
Possible. But that’s if you buy it through the Website (with Paypal/Moneybookers). if you bought it in the Windows 8 store, you can’t.
Say that you bought it through the Website, you can search the original email that gave you the download link.
If you can’t find it, you can email orders@fastspring.com about all the information you bought it with (How did you buy it, possible when, and all that good stuff).

Thanks for the help, I am pretty sure I deleted the message, and I am too lazy to talk to orders@fastspring.com right now/. But thanks for telling me what to do. Probably going to get it on this PC tommorow. Unless I can find the download link from my email

@WaveJones What would you say to orders@fastspring. Cause I asked for the email back but I’ve gotten no reply. I said I needed the purchase email back cause I want the update and want to get it on my laptop. Please respond.
@wagschalchristi You e-mail fastspring with the e-mail you bought the game with. Then you give what way you bought it with (Paypal, Moneybookers…), and possibly the date you bought it.

You may install your digital copy of Game Dev Tycoon on up to 3 different machines at any one time for your personal use.
to do so please download from your original download link email.
If you don’t have it anymore contact orders@fastspring.com giving them your name and the email address associated with the purchase.
If you bought your original copy from the windows store then you can redownload it from the store, however the target machines must also be running windows 8.
How long ago did you contact fastspring? you need to let them know you deleted the email containing the download links, and include your name and most importantly the email address associated with the purchase.
If you bought it directly from Greenheart it is DRM free. So, you should be able to reinstall on the new computer with no issue.
This is the reason I bought the game in the first place to support DRM free games. I hope Greenheart keeps producing them as I will keep buying them. As soon as DRM is added I will stop.
@Charlie I made a mistake sorry. I downloaded it on my dad’s email but I was looking for it on my email. Found it and everything is sorted out. Sorry and thanks for the help.
