Mario is still 1000 times better than Pokemon though. I would argue and say it’s even worse than Ride to Hell: Retribution. Is that a bit too far…? Nah.

You say in every way possible? I wouldn’t say that. As even if a single console is better in only one way your statement would be false.
Handheld consoles are better than the PC in battery life and when you play in an environment with limited space (your seat on a plane, etc.) and often their battery life is superior even to tablets and smartphones. It is very easy to understand this point.
Existence of games (as commercial products made for your entertainment) that are controlled by actually moving… Like Wii Sports, Kinect Sports, etc.
If you let your nephew play on your console he won’t visit malware infested sites to play his free to play game, and say yes to install the malware on your computer. Ohh and when your neighbor plays on a console (some causal games) she won’t call you every week because it got infested with malware.
Abandonware as used by the linked guide isn’t a legal term. It is pirating when noone would prosecute you for it. Saying piracy is a bigger issue on console, then treating some piracy as legal use is tricky. Hey, on most emulators people use pirated software, and the system software that was part of the platform often used without licence. If you use tolerated piracy as an advantage that can ruin piracy and effects on business related arguments.
If he ignores key points, some of his points are invalid yet he uses terms like “master race”, bash console gamers, etc. that could only start flame wars, where even the actually advantages of PC gaming wouldn’t be seen in good light.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually agree with @Enerla
Every console or PC can have a con that advantages another type of gaming system. There is no "Master Race"
Until a day comes when we can make perfect PCs, consoles or handhelds with infinite battery life, plays games in the most realistic 4D possible(It could happen in the future!) and is good cost, I believe a Master Race is impossible.
Sorry if you don’t like Enerla size and this is getting to that point, but…

I will admit. Consoles have it going for them in terms of simplicity.
